What is PanPHE?

PanPHE refers to the gasketed plate heat exchangers manufactured by Panstar. It is a type of heat exchanger assembled from corrugated metal plates and replaceable gaskets. The plates are pressed to tight tolerances and clamped together, creating narrow flow channels where fluids pass alternately to transfer heat efficiently.

The PanPHE applied in a shipyard project in South Korea utilises TA1 material for plates, the entire unit certified by the China Classification Society (CCS).

What Problems Does It Solve?

It is designed to solve several key challenges in industrial and commercial heat transfer:

• Efficient Heat Transfer: It enables highly efficient heat exchange between two fluids, even at low flow rates, by creating turbulence in the narrow channels.

• High Maintenance and Operational Costs: Its design allows for easy access, disassembly, and cleaning, which simplifies regular servicing and aims for a long, low-maintenance lifetime with lower life-cycle costs.

• Space Constraints: The unit has a compact design with a small footprint, making it suitable for installations where space is limited.

• Versatility in Applications: It provides a reliable and flexible solution for a wide range of industrial applications (like HVAC, chemical processing) by handling different fluids and flow requirements.
